Small dog collars look the same as cat collars, just add a bell. Just look for the long but thin collars in the dog section and you'll see what I mean.

I've always loved the feel of collars as an accessory, but ever since I started identifying as a canine, I've been wanting to wear one even more. I'm trying to plan out a way so that I can go shopping for one without any of my family being with me. I know that someone who identifies as a non-domestic canine should not like the idea of being "bound," but I have a naturally submissive personality, so this does not bother me. That, and like someone else had said in the forum, it is just a symbol of canine identity. They just look and feel right to me.

I like the idea that kitfallen had in regards to wearing it around the wrist; I may do this whenever I decide to attend something informal, but with people I am less comfortable around. Thanks for the idea!

The only thing I would caution against wearing a permanent collar like that is if you had a medical emergency and it had to be removed. They would probably have to use some kind of heavy duty tool to cut it off if in a emergency situation.

I don't think this person is even a therian, just a troll who gets off on littering other people's front lawns with their kink. Take a look at their post history if you don't believe me. I already reported their post but it seems to have been ignored.
    Psychological therian.

There is absolutely nothing inappropriate about that post. There's no mention of kink or adult contexts at all. The response you've had, however, is inappropriate and quite honestly, extremely rude. The user really hasn't littered posts with any kinks. Just mentioning what they're wearing permanently. It is no different than someone mentioning that they're getting a tattoo or implants. While they may not be sharing it in a thought out way, it is not going against any rules. You have been warned about this behavior before. Ive said my piece and will hand it over to Savage when he is able to reply.

The implication is quite clear. You only need to google "permanent collar" to get the full picture. And when I mentioned "littering", I was referring to the fact that this user has only ever posted about this one topic, and their behaviour seems to suggest that they sign up on random forums just to post about this (hence my use of the term "littering"), probably for some kind of sexually-motivated reason.

Your mind being in the gutter aside, the fact that the response doesn't violate TOS stands pending Savage's final ruling.

Anyhow, I have no desire at all to wear a collar. My theriotypes are wild animals and, as such, items symbolizing domestication are not something that appeals in any way.

    No, it isn't.

    That is not a crime.

We don't police what people do on other forums, only this one. No rules broken on this forum.

    I thought I had a bad memory.

Unless you can point to the rule that was broken then do not report posts for rule breaks. If you continue to report posts that are not breaking rules, we will have to re-evaluate your continued use of this forum.

That is the most polite way that I can tell you to cut it out.

Please understand that it is completely inappropriate to report people unless they are doing something that is very clearly against the rules. There is no nudity or explicit descriptions here. It is perfectly okay to discuss collars and to mention the existence of different sexual orientations such as BDSM as long as you are not posting explicit photos or pornographic descriptions. It is even more inappropriate to insult them for having those orientations, or to suggest that you can decide better than they can whether or not they are therian. Their post is not in any way rule breaking on this site, but yours very much is. Consider this a very serious administrative warning and do not report any more posts unless you are very sure you can point to the specific posted rule that is being broken.

Free speech is free even if it sometimes offends others. We do keep it pretty minor-friendly on the open forums, but that does not mean you can't even mention that different sexual orientations exist or discuss them without being explicit. That is not a good reason to report a post, and it is an even worse reason to be insulting towards another member here. Please don't do that.
