Ashoka's Meditation Experiences Journal - September 27, 2019

I am getting back into the habit of meditation, which I tend to use as a way to relax myself and a tool to "get away" from human stuff when needed. Tonight it gave me an interesting experience. I normally have trouble getting to a point where my thoughts drift, but that eventually stops. I calmed down enough to get visualizations and sensations.

What I saw was a sort of foresty area, and sometimes a grassy area. The more interesting part happened when I shifted. I often get phantom shifts when meditating, but what happened was actually stronger this time. It got to the point where I saw and felt like I was hunting. I assume this was a mental shift? It brought the urge to lunge forward like in a pounce. I then saw another lynx looking back at me from within the trees, and that's about when I had to come out of the meditation, unfortunately. But it felt like I should follow.

I will be keeping a journal of my meditations here, so if anyone is interested, feel free to check in when I post.
