Thanks! Yeah, he grew up to be a big boy now. He's definitely attached to me! About as much as the fact that he stops eating once I am gone for a few days (he resumes when I come home after he gives me a cat kiss (mouth bumps)). But yeah, he definitely has improved my life! Just wish he would meow because then my brain can try to translate what he's saying like what Tess did with me when he meowed.

I am just glad Jay got him even though the timing could've been better, I had just started grieving for Ross who died not a week before we got Buddy, but I am healing from that while being Buddy's mom, he's quite the little stinker!

Anyways, good to hear from you again! Is everything going well, I hope?

Ah, yeah, it can be hard to take in a new pet when you're grieving. I had to wait some months after my bird unexpectedly died.

Bud sounds like a super sweetie. I really am fond of friendly cats, they always have such a warm and relaxed vibe - a good balance for my tightly-wound-spring energy, haha.

Nice to see you around too! Yeah, I'm doing really well - this year has brought a lot of pretty good things. Right now I'm in the midst of the fieldwork season, so I've been working like crazy and on the road a lot. It's actually only going to get MORE intense for a while, so I'm trying to just buckle up and try to keep rightside up for a while, haha!

Yeah, he really is sweet. I'm sorry to hear about your bird, I bet that bird was really close to you. Just sucks when animals die, but as long as you focus on the good times you had with them they'll be in your heart forever. Ohhh nice, I wish I was on the road! I just have wanderlust and would love to go to different states, especially to see Jay's Dad someday (who would thank me for saving his son's life, for instance). But yeah, I love friendly cats, too! Just wish those that weren't, were so that I could interact with them more often. But it is, what it is!

Thanks btw! I'll try to be more active on this forum, I am mainly over at Therian Guide though which is pretty active but I do like coming here to my old stomping grounds, you know? Good luck with your job! My job requires me to sit at a desk, checking people in and making sure they are cleared to go visit their loved ones (bonus points for telling them that visiting hours are over and dealing with the ensuing chaos, or having to tell them that minors aren't allowed up there). People just chew your head off if things don't go their way, or they burst into tears which makes for a really awkward visit. =/

Anyways, I hope you do keep rightside up at your job! Must be hard and fun at the same time! Anyways, good luck with it and I'll talk to you later!
