Kiso: Awesome! Literally, inspiring awe. I wish I'd seen the comet. You'd think the dark rural skies here would be perfect, but I could. not. find. it. It was supposed to appear close to the horizon, though, and I didn't have a clear view of the horizon in any direction.

Daily Positivity: Not only is my tuition free, but the government is actually PAYING me to attend school. It's a nice bonus perk. I was so happy to sign in today and see the funding I'm getting.

    I eloped yesterday. <3

My twin sister drove in and she and her partner eloped with us in the mountains. (A third couple, friends of theirs, did as well!)

Real party will have to wait until after things are less virusy, but we were long overdue for this. Over 11.5 years.

We are practice-inking my tattoo designs on our fingers to get used to them and finalize them in our minds before we go get them inked on permanently.

If anyone happens to know the sixth and seventh chevrons so I can dial my home planet, I'd be much obliged.

...and this is why I'm always behind on assignments.

( Figured this kind of silliness belonged here. ^-^ )

    Congrats, Kiso!!!

Alas my Goa'uld tech knowledge is rusty, Koba, or I could help

My positivity: I finally found a local hairdresser that I feel comfortable with, and she specialises in the colours I love to dye my hair!

Now I also have a skull.

This is how it was looking:

And this is how it looks now after I cleaned and bleached it, and glued all teeth:

I picked it up somewhere in Altai region, and it was almost in perfect condition. Very clean, with almost all teeth (except one tiny), and not stinky at all. I had to carry it with me in the mountains, for quite a long and hard hike) But it was worth it.

It seems so logical though, Captain.

Congrats on the trek Forest. Seem like quite the outdoor enthusiast.

Thanks for the 'grats, guys, we are pretty stoked. But work's been so busy I've hardly had time to think about it! It keeps randomly coming to mind; "huh, I'm married now," and doesn't feel real.

OH WOW, great skull find, Forest Wind!! I have a coyote that's almost ready to be reassembled. I'll have to do a before and after. I'm finally getting around to finishing up a lot of my stuff... including a horse...

It's a very bad idea that I have all these huge maceration bins going on my apartment balcony. But it's happening. I also picked up a VERY rank swift fox this week. Too rare to pass up, but my god. i had to deflesh it in my car because I had nowhere else to go, and all the peppermint oil in the world is still only just now winning the war against rancid fox stink.

...I think I can smell that through the computer :P

I got the Kia running ! I didn't think it would start but I got it going.
I really wish I had a shop/space to work on stuff like that out of the elements.
