Presenting Solace by Ursine Vulpine & Annaca was pretty good.
"If you are worthy of his affection, a cat will be your friend but never your slave. He keeps his free will though he loves, and will not do for you what he thinks unreasonable; but if he once gives himself to you, it is with absolute confidence and fidelity of affection." -Theophile Gautier

Today I learned Blitzen Trapper did a cover of "I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow" (a song eternally on my would-maybe-sing-for-karaoke list).

Listening to Dead Man's Bones again. Their whole self-titled album (their only album) is pretty good.

Adding this to my list of 'Songs that I've Heard but Didn't Know the Name Of".

I just heard Pa Pa Power while skimming through this and I love it! Thanks for the recommendation.

I'm currently listening to Wake Up by Arcade Fire (an instant mood booster).

That Arcade Fire song is an old fave.

Highly recommend The Strokes' new album. Pretty cool to have more music from them!

How This Came To Be by Tom Rosenthal gives me feelings that I can't explain, both because of the song itself and because it brings me back to a slightly odd time in my life. It's a beautiful song.
"We have doomed the wolf not for what it is, but for what we deliberately and mistakenly perceive it to be––the mythologized epitome of a savage, ruthless killer––which is, in reality, no more than the reflected image of ourself." – Farley Mowat, Never Cry Wolf

I've been listening to a lot of Rufus Rex recently...this song is my favorite (mostly for that sweet, sweet Lovecraft theme & those references...I have been on a binge with Lovecraft's works and other related things)
    "World's In-Between"
