I read this the other day. Interesting article.

Fascinating. I'm glad they talked about wasps and bees. The level of complexity in their behavior and the implications of emotional processing there are really intriguing.

I don't know off the top of my head of any cognition studies that have suggested any species was LESS capable than we thought. The more we look, and the more willing we are to consider consciousness that doesn't quite resemble our own, the more we seem to discover that animals in general are more than we've taken them for.
